We are honored to be part of this year’s Juneteenth Celebration in Hendersonville, North Carolina, hosted by the Crystal Clear Stair Association.
This year’s theme, “Say Their Names,” calls us to remember those whose voices were taken too soon—lives lost to injustice, violence, and silence. It is a time to speak their names, to hold space for truth, and to stand in remembrance.
The event honors the life and legacy of Crystal Cauley (1980–2024), a beloved member of the community whose presence continues to be felt through the people who knew and loved her.
The afternoon will feature guest speakers, live entertainment, food and drinks, and local vendors—bringing the community together in both reflection and celebration of African American freedom, resilience, and culture.
Jewel Ward will be performing a short set in tribute, as part of the day’s musical lineup.
All are welcome to come, listen, remember, and stand together.
